Guest guest
Amy, Nothing you have written is ringing a bell. Can you give us more information, like diagnoses, etc. If the patient is diabetic, the last one may be retinopathy, but not sure. Margaret >>> " amyserna " 04/14/02 02:32PM >>> It sounds like he says He has *s/l* hypouria _________ and his last *s/l* MOG was 12.9. Then it sounds like he says he has vertinopathy? Guest guest
I listened to it and it is retinopathy. Thanks. <G> Yes, the patient is diabetic. It sounds like the other is hypoureapolutia or hypourea pollutia or something to that effect, and that his last MOG or NOG was 12.9..... He is diabetic, with increased creatinine. amy > Amy, Nothing you have written is ringing a bell. Guest guest
Amy, There is hypovolemia and hypouremia, but I couldn't find anything under hypourea or pollutia. Also MOG and NOG are not ringing any bells. Glad I could help with retinopathy. Sorry I couldn't come up with anything else. Guest guest
This is a long shot, but could MOG be A1C by any chance? It is hemoglobin A1C (a test performed on diabetics) and 12.9 would be a high reading. See if you can hear that. Re: Endocrinology question I listened to it and it is retinopathy. Guest guest
No, he says AIC later in the dicatation, and he is definitely saying something different here. He has a strong spanish accent. I even slowed him down, and it still sounds like he is saying hypourea polutia. Hmm. I am stumped. LOL amy > This is a long shot, but could MOG be A1C by any chance? Guest guest
Where does this fall in the systems? Is is possibly hypoploid defined by Dorlands as :the aneuploid, almost fatal condition in which there is less that the normal diploid number of chromosones, e.g., 45 chromosones in man, the 2n-1 state? Just a stab in the dark right now given the lack of information. Guest guest
This is probably too late in the discussion, but I was helping my husband watch Tiger Woods win the Master's Tournament. It " sounds " to me like the doc is saying " high postprandials, " meaning high blood sugar measurements after meals. Cluster Re: Endocrinology question Where does this fall in the systems?
