Guest guest
The patient has a history of pulmonary fibrosis and pneumonia. One of the meds s/l binaflaxin. I don't have a dosage or what it's for; it's just in the list of meds. Does it sound familiar to anyone? Thanks, Pattie
Guest guest
This doesn't have anything to do with fibrosis or pneumonia, but there is a venlafaxine for depression. ??? ----Original Message Follows---- To: nmtc Subject: Med help Date: Thu, 11 Apr 2002 21:36:57 -0400 The patient has a history of pulmonary fibrosis and pneumonia. Guest guest
Hi, Marsha here. I think what you may want is quinolones, a class of antibiotics. Hope this helps. If it isn't helping your pain after a week, you either need to have the dose increased, or it's not appropriate for your type of pain. I forget, but what kind of pain do you have? Neurontin is most affective for neuropathy pain. Technically, it's an anti-seizure medication. This class of medications can help relieve the hideous burning neuropathy pain. They can also help level the mood swings in bipolar spectrum. Kaylene
Guest guest
, Yes, your body will get used to Neurontin to some degree. After being on it for almost 2 years now I find that my concentration is affected the most. It still causes drowsiness but not anything like when I first went on it. Are you having any other side effects? What is your dosage? Take care!!! ~Carol > S wrote: >I have been on neurontin for about a week now, and I am so sleepy I can't stand it!
