Guest guest
Spencer, I was looking into this issue for my baby neice (salicylate/ low phenol- pay attention if it is strictly a salicylate list or a low phenol list as sometimes in my experience thats where some of this gets very confusing). It is all very puzzling. You will see you will encounter contradictions with other various subjects too. Like, rating fructose in fruits. Many of those lists are contradictory as well. It is upsetting. I plan on going to the library when I am feeling better and camping there for a while. Maybe I will pitch a tent and schlep an SCD legal cooler. Heh. Try directing some questions directly at Mimi over at PecanBread. Perhaps she can send you some links and so on. You'll get a whole education on the subject. Also Healingcrow is a great source. Although more about the Paleo diet and not strictly SCD. The moderators there are super super knowledgeable (it's quite incredible how knowledgeable all the various moderators are on all of these different SCD sites) anyway- Healing Crow is great just remember they discuss illegals and so on over there. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group Ohh and when you get the results for your stool tests I would suggest you post it over at Healing Crow and see what has to say. That is what I plan on doing once I get the results back for some 30 odd vials I sent out! I turned my bathroom into a lab! She knows about treatments etc. Invaluable resource. Great Archives too.
