I don't have specific instructions but last weekend I was trying to cook a butternut and cutting them in half is very difficult and wasn't home so I just poked some holes in it and stuck the whole thing in the oven for 45 minutes. When I got it out, it was easy to cut but not quite done yet. I finished it off in the microwave. It worked very well. Hope this helps.
