Guest guest
The Claritin and cimetidine didn't do very much for me either. I too had a achilles heel/tendon problem while I was on Prednisone, because I had exercised to dough out of myself trying not to gain weight and injured this area. I could barely walk. I had steroid shot to the area and that still was not as painful as the pain and didn't do much to help. I tried taking Relafen and it did help some, but I actually got the best relief from " stretching " that muscle, as strange as that may sound. That is what a Doc told me to do. It helped more that anything and I no longer suffer horribly from this. I still get stiff, but not the pain like I had before. I could not hardly walk. Each step was horrible. I'm not sure if this is your like your problem or not but I hope it helps. Guest guest
Dear Kim You describe my problem exactly correctly - it is called plantar fasciaitis (!) which basically means the tendon which runs from the back of the heel under the foot at the sides is inflammed.....I agree that stretches help, and will try to do them more regularly. The pain is agonising so must do something!!! I'm not planning to go for the steroid shots, as others have told me the relief is very limited and doesn't last long. Thanks, Kim, best wishes, Carol Claritin > > > > > > > Does anyone get relief from using claritin? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > > If you do wish to unsubscribe then you can click on the following link: > > > <mailto:urticaria-unsubscribeegroups> > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > > > > > This list is in the service of those who suffer from Chronic Urticaria > > (hives).
