I've been working in a family practice clinic for the last couple of months and, the other day, one of the docs was dictating the ROS and dictated that the patient had no " dark tarry stools. " I spaced out and typed " dark starry tools. " As I was laughing about it and telling the MT about it, the doc who dictated it walked in and he just started laughing his butt off. Then, he asked me if he could find these particular tools at the Craftsman section at Sears. Talk about feeling like an idgit! :-) Then, today, another doc was dictating on this male patient's cyst on the root of the penis. I typed " roof " of the penis (as opposed to the door or the window perhaps??). Last, but certainly not least, another patient had a history of Crohn's disease and had part of the colon removed. DUHmmy me typed the patient had " fart of the colon removed. " I left work this afternoon wondering what the heck was going on in my brain today cuz it obviously wasn't MT! :-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
