Hi,

I could not find it in my Steds, but I could find this on web. Maybe

this is there in Dorlands?

Stiman's test: With the foot hanging off the edge of the table and

the thigh stabilized on the table, the knee is forcefully internally

and externally rotated. Pain would be a positive sign for meniscal

tear.

I found this on google - found Steinmann's in my Stedman and looked it up ...

Steinmann's test (performed on a supine patient by bringing the knee into

flexion and rotating with reproduction of specific joint line pain with either

of these two maneuvers considered a positive test

If the reference to Stiman's was found on the Grand Valley State University

website, I think it is probably a typo, since there is no reference to it in

Stedman's or Dorland's, or any other book I have.
