Guest guest
This group has been incredibly supportive and helpful. I'm so grateful for everyone's responses. My son is doing much better today. I've used the food guidelines Marilyn outlined, and so far he's holding his own. He had some colon pain for a few minutes about an hour ago, but otherwise he's hanging in there and seems to be tolerating the soft foods. I'm hopeful the gentle diet combined with the increased dose of prednisone are finally working. It's 24 hours and I've tasted the bone broth. It is horrible. Really bad. What can I do to fix it? I made it from water and beef bones for broth from Whole Foods. Nothing added. Is there anything I can do to it that will make it edible? Do I add salt? Do I add vinegar? Yuck.
