Vaginal Myomyectomy at 10am, home at 3pm

I had my vaginal myo this morning. I feel so blessed that it went as

planned and she was able to remove it without an incision. I had

major abdominal surgery 3 months ago as was really regretting, and

was very nervous about, another procedure of any type but my fibroids

was causing so many complications with my recovery from the first

surgery. I did not go back to my ob/gyn who did part of the first

surgery as I did not trust him not to remove my uterus at the

slightest signal of a complication. Instead I found a wonderful

fibroid specialist in Houston (about 4 hours from where I live) and

am very pleased with her. The only down side, I was put under a

general anesthesia and I now have a migraine from that. For those of

you who have had fibroids removed how long does it take for your

abdomen to go back to a normal size. I was disappointed I didn't

wake up and not look pregnant anymore
