Guest guest
You are very brave. That is so much to endure. I admire your strength. > MsKaturah wrote: > It was a very difficult time. My body was acting up fiercely. There were days I just wanted to die already and start my new life. I just kept myself in meditation. It made the painful times a little easier to deal with. Guest guest
It took me over 6 months for my jaw and gums heal to the point that I could start eating soft foods. I was drinking diet shakes that I made to keep my blood sugars somewhat normal. I had spent two weeks in the hospital for 3 different surgeries on my jaw I would just recover from one when they had to do 2 more surgeries on it. The worst part is that I had to spend almost all of that winter going to the local E.R. twice a day storms or no storms for a total of 6 weeks I was given 3 different antibiotics to kill it. Two I had to take 4 times a day and go to the E.R. for the third one to be put in through the port. I was driving my self in the morning and my youngest son would drive me at night when he got out of work. We had to go 24 miles in snow storms that was just 1 way. I got to know the staff quite well both am and pm shifts. After the first 4 trips my port tube got caught and bent so that blood would come out but the medication would not go in. So I had to go back for a day surgery so they could replace the port. Due to a little complication, I had to spend the night and most of the next day in the hospital. After the port had been in for 2 or 3 days it stopped hurting. While taking a shower I just had to be careful not to get it wet so I put a little piece of plastic wrap over it and held on by little band-aids. So sorry I was long winded Gentle hugs, Ms.Katurah > Lori wrote: > Oh my! Sounds like that was a terrible experience. How long did it take to get well? Guest guest
I'm just hoping six weeks of IV antibiotics cures the Lyme and gets rid of the pain related to it. My body is starting to protest. My digestive system is icky and I'm swollen and way up in weight. I would love to know how others get through this treatment.
