Hello all.

I had my upper and lower jaw surgery on March 6th 2002. I still have

quite a bit of numbness in my chin area. In the mornings are worst,

my mouth feels so tight, I am always pulling these faces to stretch

the muscles (must be a sight). I've been told that it could take up

to year to have normal feeling again. My lips recovered quite

quickly, the feeling of the nerves coming back is like getting little

electric shocks, very weird. Anyway I was wondering if anybody

became anaemic from the surgery??? My iron levels were down so much,

I'm still trying to get my iron level back to normal, with the help

of tablets.

I finally get my braces off on the 21st of August!!!!!

It has taken me 5 years to have a nice smile and perfect teeth but it

has all been worth it, I recently seen pictures of my teeth before I

had any treatment - I have no regrets lol. I just can't believe it

is nearly over!!!
