Sweet Brother,

I feed 4 people in a month for twice that. I make up a menu for the week or the

month depending on how much I can handle shopping for that day

First I check the newspapers for the sales,I go online and print off coupons or

get them from the papers. Then I make up the menu with what ever is on sale.

When I go shopping I ask the manager for someone to follow me with a cart while

I go on the riding carts. The basket on the riding cart isn't big enough for

what I need to buy. Then the person who followed me also put it on the belt and

packed them up then helped me put it in the car. I get home and the boys or

hubby help me inside as well as getting the food out of the car.

I had to feed 6 people for a long time sometimes more when the boys brought home

friends. I will be happy to help you in any way I can when it comes to a

diabetic diet. I had to learn the hard way to cook or go very hungry. I also

learned how to cook by cookbooks and T.V. Now I use the computer to find great

cheap recipes that feed a lot of people with little money.

There is not a single person with 2 hands who cannot cook. Just follow

directions. I would read cookbooks and followed them Not only did I learn to

cook and feed myself but fed my brothers and parents from the age of 7. When I

learned how to read, I learned how to cook. I would go to the public

libraries, take out cook books, and followed the recipes to the letter.

If I did it, anybody can do it. If I can teach my mother to cook (the woman

burns water) Anybody can cook. I got a sorta funny story about my mother.

She was trying to make spaghetti sauce one day. She put every thing in the pot

and put the cover on. She did not know that it was a presser cooker. She took

the cover off without releasing the steam YOU GUESSED IT. The spaghetti sauce

flew out all over the place. It was on the ceiling, the walls, the floor, and my

mother. The bad part was it burnt her face. So while she was in the emergency

room getting treated for the burns I was cleaning everything up and laughing

about a new trick about serving supper on the ceiling. She came home and threw

the pot into the garbage. We still laugh about the day mom served supper on the

ceiling.

She learned a big lesson that day and to this day is happy that I cleaned up the

mess,and made supper that night.

If you need help making menus or recipes that are quick and very easy, just let

me know

Gentle hugs,
