Guest guest
Lynn, T & A stands for tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. Sounds like the next thing you need to get is a good abbreviations book. Margaret >>> " Lynn Van Couvering " 05/13/02 06:35PM >>> Under past medical history on a history and physical report, the doc just dictates " T & A " . This is on the SUM urology tape, and it is correct per the answer key, but I can't find it in any of my references, including Stedmans's, HPI's OB-GYN and Genitourinary, or their H & P book. What does T & A stand for? Guest guest
I found myself wondering about it too. ;-) In another one, it sounded like the doc said, " RECTAL: Great. No masses palpable. Stool guaiac negative. " When I checked the answer key, there was nothing where he made a noise that sounded like " great " . Keeps us awake though. L.
