Guest guest
Most of the time these are fungus infections. Warm, dark, moist areas are perfect for fungi. Antifungal creams usually help but it's important to wash and thoroughly dry a couple times a day. A hair dryer on low is great and non irritating. Guest guest
Thank you for the advice. I will try the hair dryer and get some creams. I was using hydrogen peroxide, which hurt like crazy. Guest guest
I've been using a hair dryer after towel drying my body for years. Makes putting on clothing so much easier! By the way: peroxide should never be used on broken skin, other than to briefly clean minor scratches or as directed by a Dr., since it destroys cells - that's why teeth whiteners cause sensitivity. Nothing beats soap and water, keeping area as cool/dry as possible. As I said in my email - it helps to wear lite weight cotton t-shirt/tank top or strip of cotton UNDER bra band - which I've also done. I hope this helps. --- Ms Katurah wrote: > > Thank you for the advice. I will try the hair dryer and get some creams. I was using hydrogen peroxide, which hurt like crazy. Guest guest
Moderator's note: I googled witch hazel for cleaning the perineum and it also suggested using Tucks pads or Tucks gel. Have you tried witch hazel? It is nonstinging. I use A & D ointment for healing. I works wonders. Even for delicate areas. Hope things are improving. BB and hugs, Tami --- MsKaturah wrote: > > Thank you for the advice. I will try the hair dryer and get some creams. I was using hydrogen peroxide, which hurt like crazy.
