How does everyone deal with keeping your house clean? My back limits me from

bending/lifting or even standing too long. I really can't afford to hire

anyone so I've been looking into buying a Roomba and maybe a steam mop. Anyone

use these? Like them? Have any recommendations for keeping up on the

housework?

thanks!

I try to do mine in sections. Like one day I will tackle just doing laundry and

dishes, the next day living and dining room an kitchen.

Our house is kinda small so those rooms are all attached. One day bathrooms and

playroom.

I try to not do too much. But I always end up overdoing it all the time. But

just try to do little each day I find rotating chores helps.

I have a steam mop but it hurts me to use it because I have to bend over to use

it correctly, I have a bad back as well as other issues. But I love my swiffers.

Hi Kendra,

My head to toe RSD limits me on everything as well. A lot of times I am unable

to do much. My boyfriend helps out a little, usually every now and again when I

am not home. I have to do a little here and there several days apart, sometimes

longer. It all depends on how I'm feeling. I try to keep things clean,

straightening as I go instead of letting things pile up or leaving them

everywhere. It makes things a whole lot easier. I have never used a steam mop

or a Roomba so I can't help with those. :-)

Love,

Becky in New Mexico
