Guest guest
*: I pack very lightly when I go to the hospital. The only things that I take are toiletries and a change of clothes. I will have to wear one of those God forsaken hospital gowns while I'm there. I'll be there for four days post procedure. H. * wrote: > Theft is, unfortunately, common in hospitals. Guest guest
Theft is, unfortunately, common in hospitals. Take a laptop with you only if you are willing to accept the risk of theft of the computer and the information on the hard drive. Never, ever, ever take anything valuable into the hospital. They don't want you to do it. The valuable either. Certainly no credit cards. I always kept my drivers license and keys in my purse, and my lunch money in my pocket even I had a lock on my little locker. A hospital is essentially a public place, and multiple people come into a room each day. There are hundreds of people who work in most hospitals, not to mention the visitors.
