Jen, I am going to be in Knoxville at the end of this month and for a week in

July. My grandmother lives in Sevierville and my Dad lives in Seymour... Are

you anywhere near these areas?

has always been at less than the 5th percentile for height and weight

since birth. Weight gain has always been an issue for us. He continues to

steadily plod along, right there at the 5th percentile. Our CF docs have never

really said that his weight track record so to speak has had anything to do with

his current lung condition. They have said recently that we need to try really

hard to put some weight on him so that his body has more " reserves " to burn

when fighting infection.

I too am interested in the subject of flaxseed oil... I must have came on just

after that discussion started, but I know there is another mom out there asking

about it... I would really like some info on that also... has clinic on

5/1, would like to ask about it...hope we can hold out till 5/1, sounds like a

nasty sounding chest cough developing. Would not be surprised at another round

of antibiotics (IV). Thanks goodness for his port a cath!! The last time we

were in-patient was Christmas.

My two cents worth!! Okay maybe it was more like a buck fifty!
