Guest guest Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 I may be wrong, but I thought the Opana was a time release drug that is to be taken every 12 hours (though some take it every 8). why would he have you take it every 5? There are higher dosages, I believe that you could have tried, but taking it every five hours could have put you too close to overdose. Most doctors order a low level of a time release and raise the MG, NOT lower the time between doses.
