I hear you. Similar situation. What I tell myself every night ...when taking

the 15 different little pills just to get some rest...that I'm taking all the

pain so that my children won't ever have any.

It kind of gets all shot to hell when one of them gets sick or hurts themselves,

but then I just justify it and say that it would have been way worse had I not

taken all that extra pain away.

I know, kind of stupid, but it does help.
