Many Thanks 9.3 cm is pretty big, but then again, these things can get a lot bigger! According to my ruler, I guess it could be categorized as the size of a lemon, if it's oblong, or perhaps a baseball, if it's more round. How big is your cyst? (I have one about the size of your fibroid, which is bigger than any one of my collection of fibroids.) Unless you are at high risk for cancer or another life-threatening condition, my personal recommendation would be for you to explore the following options, in this order: (1) UAE; (2) " watch & wait " (if you can stand it); (3) myomectomy; (4) hysterectomy. When I started to become unbearably uncomfortable, I started out pursuing UAE but then found out about my cyst, which is too big to " watch & wait " now, so I'm scheduled to have surgery to remove it + my fibroids (a myo) this Thursday. If it weren't for the cyst, I would definitely be persuing the UAE further. And if my fibroids grow back again, that's what I will do. Good luck! Loretta PS Also, start looking thru the archives on this group as well as joining & exploring the archives on the " embo " group. Both are a wealth of information.
