Guest guest
Yep! Being an AZ gal I would have to agree with you, Christie. It's very cold here today (for us desert peeps), and didn't get into the 40's until after 1 PM. Most unusual for us. My foot has been much worse today and I'm fairly confident in saying that the cold is a strong contributing factor . Can't even imagine what -22 would be like. Yikes!!! Stay as warm as possible all of you who live in the colder climes. Thinking of you and sending warm thoughts your way . I have trouble with the heat where I grew up (North of Houston, TX) as it is a very humid heat.
Guest guest
I live in Maine, with beautiful spring, summer and fall. Right now we are in the middle of a huge snowstorm that has already dumped 18 inches and hasn't stopped yet. It started yesterday morning with a little storm that gave us 6 inches,Then this storm hit and has dumped a foot already and it is still snowing. We are lucky though many places have lost their power we haven't yet (knock on wood). I can't wait until spring though.I love the smell after a spring rain. My body on the other hand hates all storms and causes many painful times. I have been at a level 10-11 pain and had to take my breakthrough pain killer. I hate how it makes me feel but it does calm down the pain level Gentle hugs, Ms.Katurah

I handle real western Canadian winter cold, better than I handle heat. -40 doesn't bother me, because I can dress for it. I'm going home to Saskatchewan in a couple of weeks and hoping for really cold weather while I'm there. In summer, it's illegal to ditch all of my clothes and go to work. :-) I can take the heat up to about +35C (95F), as long as it is a dry heat. Heat and humidity together are something I've learned I just can't handle. I'm looking forward to moving back to western Canada and escaping the midwest US summer humidity.
