Guest guest Posted June 23, 2008 Report Share Posted June 23, 2008 Advertisement for Knowledge Management Officer, New Delhi The Health Commission of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) is a sub recipient to Round 6 Global Fund Grants under the Promoting Access to Care and Treatment (PACT) project. It shall be setting up Community Care Centres (CCC) in the states of Gujarat, West Bengal, Orissa, Chattisgarh and Bihar. The objective of the CCC is to provide treatment of opportunistic infections, to improve drug adherence among people living with HIV (PLHIV) and to integrate care and support services to existing out reach activities and build capacities for community-based care. CBCI-HC is currently recruiting a Knowledge Management Officer for the Head Office at New Delhi. Tasks and responsibilities * Help in the implementation of the project's knowledge management, communication and information strategies. * Document the process and output of the project at the national and regional level through multiple media. * Work as a team member and assist others in effectively reporting the progress of the project. * Collect, compile and disseminate data and information on care and support to PLHIV through multiple channels of communication for the use of CCCs, and other health and development agencies. * Assist in the publication of the journals and other publications and help in regular up-date of the website Desired Profile Post Graduation in Social Sciences, Mass Communication or similar subjects from a premier institution or university. Excellent writing and editing skills, both in English and Hindi. Proficiency in computers and willing to travel. Work experience/ exposure to the field of HIV and AIDS is a must S/he should have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, ability to achieve results in a time-bound manner, adaptability and ability to cope with change and ability to turn challenges into opportunities.
