Dear Liesbeth,

You asked about coverage of Pulmozyme in the US. Coverage here varies by

insurance plan. Since there are thousand of insurance plans out there,

there are also thousands of differing opinions on coverage and amount of

payment made by the patient for Pulmozyme. The plan which I was on for the

last 10 years covered it with a very small co-payment ($10 per month). The

plan which I switched to April 1 does not cover it. Since the cost is about

$1000 per month, I don't know if we will be able to continue using it.

Fortunately, I built up a good supply before we had to switch plans, so I

won't be forced to make this decision soon.
