Dear Kendra:

We have a roomba, it works ok, but they can be really temperamental.  You also

have to bend to get them going.  You have to make sure that there isn't anything

on the floor that will cause it to get clogged up...like hair pins or twist ties

or large pieces of plastic. we found that it worked best on hard wood or

laminate flooring.

You can set it to vacuum as often as you like, but you also have

to make sure that it can't get stuck or fall down stairs (it has a sensor for

stairs, but it has to be programmed).  We found it to

be more trouble than it was worth.

I've been looking into buying a Roomba and maybe a steam mop. Anyone use these?

Like them? Have any recommendations for keeping up on the housework?

thanks!

My daughter loves her Roomba. But, she has a 16 year old daughter who can bend

and a sweetie pie of a hubby. My daughter's health is actually worse than

mine. I think she said that she has to be in the room when it is on to

" rescue " it from corners and such.
