Guest guest
Welcome Patti, In addition to this group, I would strongly recomend you join AG Bell. It is a wonderful organization. They have a National chapter site, AGBell.org and each state has a state chapter. They are a terrific resource for information, advice and guidance. What state do you live in? One other resource would be Clinic in Los Angeles, California. They have a corespondance program to teach your child from home. Its all FREE! You can email me at ktharr@... if you want to talk or have questions. The feeling of being overwhelmed is a constant, but changes over time. Hang in there. Guest guest
Re:balance issues. My daughter constantly fell and ran into things. She still does, but not as bad as before her aids. We had a CT Scan done and found out her Vestibular acquiduct was enlarged. She is 5 1/2 and does not ride a two wheeler either. Her ENT ordered the CT Scan, but a neurologist could do the same.
