We need to sleep well) AND i have dropped from 400mg of extended release morphine to 180mg instant release morphine all from using the cannabis. cannabis is a wonderful herb/medication if used properly without abuse and with respect. BTW i do not smoke it. I use it in a food form or sometimes i vaporize it (no smoke at all. I use small amounts of cannabis 1-2 times daily. Louis, Did you get the munchies, this is a serious question? I would not like to gain weight. Bennie

My doc (Canada) prescribed Cannabis for me many, many moons ago. I didn't get the munchies. For some reason, it made me want to brush my teeth over and over again. :-) It didn't lower my pain level one little bit (and it was good weed :-). It did make me not care about the pain for awhile though. Wouldn't it be nice if one thing worked for all of us? I have a low calorie Alice B. Tokeless style brownie recipe. It's still fattening, but what a great way to gain weight. Sure beats prednisone bloat. <grin> Lyndi
Guest guest
Hi Lou. I have heard the benefits of medical use. I would definitely consider trying it. Unfortunately I am in Pa and it does not recognize any medical use of cannabis. I know there has been some bad press in California about the sck among other conditions.ale and use of medical cannabis. I believe that if it was legalized it could be make into a pill or tablet form. I would love to see that. It would be easy for me to be able to take it. Right now I am on tramadol, oxycodene and a muscle relaxer. They manage most of my pain. I have arthritis in my hands, neck, shoulder and lower back among other conditions. I don't think people understand that people in chronic pain know that it is not in their best interest to abuse their medication. I believe that abuse develops more often in individuals who are taking it for acute pain. I do hope to see the law changed. since I know that not all medications are going to work for me, I would like to see a variety of medication options. Gentle hugs, Tami -Louis wrote: > > I have been on morphine for 15 years. I have been using medical cannabis for a year now. I have to say it helps. It is not a cure but it certainly without a doubt helps me, I use it at night mostly I know there are people out there against this but it helps me. > > Not only does it take the edge off my 5 bad low back disc, nerve pain, it also helps me sleep
Guest guest
Munchies lol that is a worry for sure, but no i did not get them. I'm sure some do, but being i am not using it for getting wasted and using it for pain relief might make the difference. I'm not using so much that i am wasted I'm using just enough to get the relief i need. I do feel it in the head a little but it is not overwhelming. If you choose to eat it make sure you do so in small doses. you can eat too much and then the experience is not help full. small dose until you know your tolerance. I hope this helped --- Bennie wrote: > > Did you get the munchies, this is a serious question? I would not like to gain weight.
Guest guest
Yes i do wish this could help everyone. It helps me and might not help someone else, all I can say is try it for a while until you find the right dose. It is worth a try. I will say it is not a magic cure, but it does give me a better quality of life as compared to not using it. If anyone is worried about gaining weight they can take cannabis in a form of a tincture. Guest guest
I hope your state starts a MMP.contact your state reps and tell them you want medical cannabis in your state. You be surprised on what will happen if all our voices are heard ! Cannabis can be made into a pill form. I do have to warn you that unless you already have been using cannabis for a while the pill form can be too strong for some if not made right. I had them in the past and they were to strong for me, but that can be fixed very easy by using less plant material. everyone's dose is going to be different, what's weak for some is way strong for others. always take it slow with any edible. if you take to much, you won't die or get hurt, you will just be too medicated and it will take a few hours to feel normal again. --- Tami wrote: > I do hope to see the law changed. since I know that not all medications are going to work for me, I would like to see a variety of medication options.
