Guest guest
Does anyone have temporal wasting, which is when your head caves in at your temples making you look like someone who was in a vice grip? Neurologist saw it and said no big deal, had never seen it before. Often have significant temporal pain. Have multiple auto-immune conditions. Age 43. Live in Maumee, Ohio. Keep getting sicker. Need a treating doctor who can get me well. Missing out on my kids' lives. Miserable. Have great insurance. Spouse has good job. Just can't figure out where to go to get treated. Significant memory and cognition challenges. Alphabet soup of auto-immune illnesses. Would appreciate your input. Thank you. Sincerely, Lori
Guest guest
i am not sure if this will help, but maybe a neuropsychologist could provide some answers. They work with neurologist about helping various condition that effect brain functioning. Is there a teaching hospital near you? Look under the neurology department and then ask if they have a neuropsychologist. My therapist was a neuropsychologist and he was part of the epilespy center. Let us know how you are doing. Lots of gentle hugs, Tami Lori wrote: > Does anyone have temporal wasting, which is when your head caves in at your temples making you look like someone who was in a vice grip? Some of the articles state temporal wasting comes from other diseases. I agree with Tami that you need to have this checked and please read the research on the internet so it can give you and idea of what you are dealing with. Let us know what you find out and take it seriously and call your local hospital if there is not a teaching and they have a index of the specialists or you can go online and research them for yourself and their training.
