Director (IEC) on contractual basis for the West Bengal State AIDS Prevention &

Control Society

Category of the Post: Jt. Director (IEC)

Pay scale: Rs. 30,000 – 40,000

Qualifications & Experience:

A. Essential:

• PG degree in Mass Communication or PG Degree in Social Science/ Humanities

with PG Diploma in Mass Communication from a recognized university/ institute

• Min.12 yrs experience in the field of development/ health communication

including planning and implementation in of IEC campaign.

B. Desirable

• 5 yrs practical experience of handling work relating to Development

Communication in health or related sectors, preparation of Audio Visual AIDS and

display material in a responsible position, ability to develop nation-wide IEC

packages/ strategy & liaise with Govt. & private sectors

• Knowledge of AV Media & proficiency in handling audio-visual aids for training

purposes

• Knowledge of modern training techniques

• Working knowledge of local language

experiences, computer proficiencies and language skills, two recent passport
