Guest guest
>Good afternoon ,Tree and Chris. I have nerve damage to my legs and arms from a bad accident at work. My arms and legs are super sensitive to heat and cold. I can feel them burning during most of the day if I didn't have Lyrica 100Mg's three times daily. It helps me out of the nerve pain all day and night. Ask your doctor if it will work for you. Only ask if your Neurontin is no longer helping you. I was taking the maximum dose of Gabapentin(neurontin)2400Mg's 3 times a day,it stopped working after just one month, hence the reason I went on the Lyrica. /NYC
Guest guest
Hi , I apologize for intruding on your conversation with and Tree, but I am interested in the specific dosage of Neurontin that you mentioned. I have nerve damage in both of my feet from three sessions of High Dose Chemotherapy resulting after treatment for metastatic systemic bladder cancer. I began taking Neurontin 100mg and it was like a miracle drug for my nerve damaged feet. Then I had to increase after several months to 200 mg. That worked for a couple of years and now I am taking one dose of 400 mg Neurontin daily and have been taking one capsule every morning and have been doing so for maybe 10 years now and it is the only medication that I have taken that controls the pain in my feet. I guess I am just wondering how high of a dose of Neurontin is " normal " and can you overdose on the stuff. 2400 mg seems like an awful large dose to me? Best wishes for you and I hope you are having a pain free day!
Guest guest
I can tell you it's not terribly uncommon for people to take 4800 mg of gabapentin each day. All, Just watch the vision and dizziness you can get. I got vision changes and had to go way down to 300mg twice a day. Bennie
