Amy great to hear from you! Glad to hear Kep is continuing to make

progress in many areas, but it does sound like OT may be a good thing

to add with his sensory issues. Just an idea for a coat. Maybe it

will fly, or not, but for quite a few years wore a quilted

flannel shirt as a jacket. I know it's not enough for your weather,

but it would be better than nothing if he would wear it. It's more

like wearing a shirt than a jacket and still prefers to wear

those.

I hope Cam is doing better and the gallbladder or whatever it was

does not act up again, and it sounds like you handled Bethany's

anxiety about her friend quite well. Don't worry about posting.

We'll still be here when you do, or well the list will. I tend to

drop in and out also depending on the mayhem here.

I know - in your spare time - try to take care of yourself too!

Hi Amy !

Glad to hear Kep is improving and that he's willingly taking the medication

for it. Maybe he's finally figured out that it helps him feel better?

Sorry Bethany was so upset about her friend. Didn't she lose one before

from school or do I have her confused with someone else?

Glad you're not doing too badly, considering. Hope they figure out what's

up with Cam soon and can take care of it.

Keep us posted!

Sue

We are getting Kep's yeast problem under control. He is taking his medicine

without protest now, so that helps. His butt has almost completely healed,

The rest of the family is not doing great. Cam was in the hospital this

week due to severe abdominal pain and elevated white blood cell count.

They still aren't sure but think it may have been an early gall bladder

attack.

Bethany had a horrible week as far as her anxiety is concerned. I finally

found out last night that her best friend at school has been out for over a

week because she is very ill. I talked to Carly's mom and then was able to

reassure Bethany that Carly was not going to die (yes, she really thought

that). She seemed better today. It has just been hard for me to do

anything or go anywhere. I had a girl scout meeting last night that I had

to leave early because I had promised Bethany I would be home at a certain

time.

Bobby & Anne,

I'm feeling fine - just a tiny bit sore at the biopsy site. Wish it had

felt like this yesterday!! C'est la vie - at least I was prepared for

it to hurt. I'm STILL waiting to hear whether I have to go to the

hospital or not, though, and that's a bit nerve wracking even though

I've pretty much decided that it is a done deal that I'll have to go.

My biggest fear is that the problem in pathology will be bigger and

I'll have to do the test again! I'm going to insist that they do

another set of labs on me before I agree to that - especially since I'm

feeling so much better than I was earlier this week.

Thanks for checking on me. I'm going to go hang out with Noah for a bit

and then finish packing. (Maybe if I'm ready, I won't have to go???

We'll see...)

Bobby how are you these days?

Take care,

(((((((((((((donna-marie)))))))))) Sinus infections are miserable!! I have

found sleeping in a semi sitting position helps my sinus drain and reduces

morning pressure.

Steam and salt water is helpful. Just boil a pot of water with epsom salt or

regular salt put towel over your head and let the steam do the trick. I also

use warm compresses on my face. Add a little lavender oil to the compress. I

will help relax your facial tension.

I also drink lemon tea. don't know if it helps but it makes me feel better. :)

I would imagine that taking vit c can help mobilize your body to fight the

infection.

I really hope you are feeling better soon. Lots of gentle hugs, Tami

I used to get sinus infections all the time then I had acupuncture. This has

helped me for over ten years. I don't suffer like I used to. I also flush my

sinuses out with saline when their playing up. There are special plastic bottle

and saline powder kits available or a neti pot. I also spray saline up my

nostrils on a regular basis. I used to be sick almost every day with sinusitis

now I am lucky to get sick once a year.

All the best
