Guest guest
GrandmomBev, You are truly an earth angel - I just received your care package of brochures, info, journal log etc etc. Thank you - it seems that U.S. resources are so much more informative. Allie was tickled pink and kept saying, " all this is for me and about me! " Thanks so much. Jen, Miss you! The kids have been telling Uphoff stories to whoever will listen - okay, even to those who don`t! I`ll be thinking of you on Monday as I head to one of our fine Canadian Prisons to mediate an inmate grievance. Well, I should say, that`s where I`m supposed to be on Monday. Since I am in bed today with Strep throat, and need to travel tomorrow, maybe I won`t be going anywhere. Figures that on my day without kids or work, I would end up in bed (ummm, sick I mean, tee hee) I`m also supposed to fly North on Thursday for a huge mediation in a Native community. I`ll be thinking of you on your travels - I, of course, will be leaving my kids with the sperm donor so I can actually get some sleep and focus on work (I will never aspire to be the superdame you are!!) Glad to hear the trip back went well and your plans for the fourth panned out. I tried to call you on the morning of your departure, but you must have gotten an early start - that means you must`ve slept in ! the van LOL! Jordi`s had some great nightmares attributed to the Dinosaur movie - like he needs a reason to wake up at nite! Glad to hear you got some supportive views on JoJo - I figure that kid knows that he needs to stay compact and light to carry because down on the floor is just too crowded! Josh`s weight is encouraging, and you know that I think Mall just likes to keep you on your toes. Take good care, stay away from the turd hurling contests! , Yeast, yuck - I have vivid memories of Nystatin so am glad to hear that it`s clearing up - despite the one hour no eating rule. Our limit was half an hour, so makes me wonder how arbitrary it is. You guys never cease your challenges, although, since you always manage to work things out must be a testament to your strength, patience, and ability to grrrrr with the best! Maybe you could develop some med signing sheets or a med log for your absent-minded professor - if you put it in a book form it might just work tee hee! Poor Ken, I`m sure that he tries awfully hard - and I`m quite sure he does not want to have to go on line and explain himself again! Hang in there, and know that we are thinking of you. Tammy, I`ve been to a lot of the lakes you mentioned to Jenn - we do have more lakes than we know what to do with! The only lake I really worry about is Golden Lake by Eganville (outside of Ottawa) It`s a big lake, but notorious for contracting `the itch`. Hope you are enjoying your summer - nice to finally have decent weather! Torsten, Way to go Fiona!!! Okay, even though I have a million things to do, I guess it`s time to go for a nap and try to get well grrrrrr! Maybe I should keep this laptop at home, so I could be in touch more (now, that`s a scary thought to end with) Stay well, warm thoughts to all (except maybe Lori cuz at 102 degrees, you probably just want cool ones!)
