Bill, You can read about it by googling on the internet " barometric changes and pain " and as Cheryl says, the research supports it. It seems to cause inflammatory process and I don't like it. I just got to experience bursitis in my hip and I never want that again. I got the local cortisone shot in my bursae to reduce the inflammatory response. I remember some elderly people saying " Do you know my boyfriend, Arthur, Burr and I know there one but then they smiled and said, " Arthritis, Bursitis, and they visit me often " Has anyone else heard this saying?
