Guest guest
Oh Marta, I am so sorry that you had this terrible experience. I wish every nurse could be like my mom was. She was a RN and worked as the Director of Nurses at a small hospital, then a nursing home and finally a home health agency. I am sure if any of her nurses had behaved like this, they would have been gone! Unfortunately, there are more nurses like the one you encountered than like my mom. Guest guest
I wish more nurses were like your mom too, Christie.or like my grandma. My grandma (RIP) who passed last March, was a nurse on the European Front lines in WW2, and then once she came home, she worked in nursing homes and hospitals. She was known to corner doctors and demand help for patients. But many nurses now are just too frazzled and burnt out. What I don't understand is why they get so wracked up even if a person is a " drug seeker " . It's not like the cost of the pills come from their wallet. BUT, even if they THINK a person is faking, they don't KNOW it and you should never treat anyone badly unless you've walked a mile in their shoes.
