Guest guest
Hello Welcome to the group! It's nice to meet you! I'm sorry for all you go through with your health and that we had to meet this way, but I'm glad to meet you! I also have RSD. Mine started when I nearly severed my spinal cord in an inter-tubing accident when I was 16 and began to escalate in my 20's after a work related accident. I am now 32 and about to turn 33 on May 8. I have it head to toe. Again, welcome! Gentle hugs! :-) Love, Becky in NM wrote: Hello all! My name is and I am new to the group. I guess I should give you the rundown about me. I am 46 years old and developed RSD following a broken left elbow.
Guest guest
Hi Becky, I am sorry to hear about your chronic pain. Seems like we all have that in common, unfortunately. I am also from NM. I lived and worked in Albuquerque for most of my growing up life and moved to Edgewood for most of my adult life. Where are you from? Becky in NM wrote: Welcome to the group! Guest guest
Hello and Becky, It's so nice meeting others here who also have RSD. It's such a challenging disease to deal with every day! I'm dealing with RSD in my left foot following some failed surgeries and also live with a deformed foot which causes pain with every step I take. I work with a wonderful PM doc who helps me manage the pain with meds. I've tried so many things that haven't worked to relieve the pain. What have you both done to help you deal with this disease? Guest guest
Hi , It is ok that you asked where I was from after reading my post. I have brain spasms quite often, you can ask any member of my family and my boyfriend ha ha. I am not originally from NM, but have lived here off and on over the past 15 years or so. I will certainly have some green enchiladas for you, which won't be difficult since I love the chili's and food lol :-). Love, Becky in NM wrote: I am also from NM. Guest guest
Funny how a large population of us got RSD from failed surgeries. No on can understand the pain and crazy feelings we have. I am on 900mg Neurontin 3 times a day and that helps. But the feeling of my arm cut open and left that way is the exact feeling I have.
