Guest guest
Dear Marta: I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming surgery. It's always scary to go under the knife, so don't feel bad about being scared. It will be challenging, but keep your eye on the prize...pain relief! It is a good idea to keep the pets out of the room. I know it can be tough since they can be such a comfort, but it's important to keep things sterile and to keep them from accidentally hurting you. Keep us posted on your progress! - PA I had my meeting with the " injections Pain Management doctor " Tuesday and he agreed to do the lumbar sympathetic block. YEAH me. Not 100% relief but about 80% right now. I'll TAKE it. And it tends to stack. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Guest guest
Yeah, it's going to be difficult to keep the furkids from my room.I'm looking for some " pressure gates/walk through gates " for the bedroom and bathroom, so that I won't have to step over gates, or shut the door. I have a 14 year old Lhasa, a 12 year old Lhasa and a 10 year old Lhasa that have NEVER been locked out of my room, and to a Lhasa Apso, a closed door is an evil, entrance to HELL. they will claw, scratch and dig at and under the door. MY 14 year old Fur Child, my furry little Son, Butch has actually dug THROUGH DRYWALL to get past a door. The other fur kids are also going to be upset, especially the 3 year old PomChi, Avalon..she's very dedicated and attached to me. BUT, especially during the trial and the first few weeks after surgery, they will just have to see Mama from a distance. The other thing I'm doing is buying extra sheet sets, that way I have new, clean sheets to start with and my daughter (who will be my caregiver) will wash them frequently. We looked into " disposable " sheets, but for a King size bed they are EXPENSIVE. Marta > - PA wrote: Dear Marta: >I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming surgery.
