Guest guest
For a few weeks now, I've been suffering ( scale of 1 - 10, 12 ), with pain in a place NO ONE should have to have to sustain. Suffice to say it's where the sun doesn't shine. I've researched hemorrhoids on line until I'm sick, gone to the quick care clinic and been given some cortisone suppositories ( which won't stay in ), and pretty much had to alter my life around this condition which often causes me abdominal convulsions when sitting on the bathroom throne. My day consists of 5-6 sitz baths, trying to do my work without sitting straight down and worrying about my next BM. The Dr. at the quick care told me to see a Gastroenterologist. I've not yet done so because without insurance, I'm apprehensive about; 1) the success of a visit in curing my current condition; 2) the cost. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to proceed with this? I've had hemorrhoids before, but they always subsided on their own, these are not and are literally destroying the quality of my life.
