Hi Tammy

I'd be happy to get to 200 - that's 105 to go for

me. So does that mean you'll go back to using the

food mover? Do you have a plan in place - mini

goals set etc?

weight. I would be happy with half that. I want

to do a balanced diet so I'm going to try

's food mover. I did deal a meal in high

school and has sucess with that

Yes I'm using the food mover. I want a balanced diet and it is easier for me to use than counting calories and writing everything down. I haven't thought of a mini goal. Maybe every 10 lbs I'll set a goal.

intimadating too LOL besides we all know someone

who's trying to lose 10 pounds :)

Hubby and I just set our ten 10-pound goals... Me 10 - Hubby has to dust the entire house top to bottom... all nooks n' crannies.. behind and under furniture 20 - Let me sleep in! I have a 2 year old and 6 month old... so this is a very valuable commodity. 30 - Vacation - Dunno where, but it will be according to whatever season it is. A non-GORGING OURSELVES ON FOOD vacation of course. 40 - Spa.. I have the certificate, but I'll feel better getting to use it 40 pounds lighter. 50 - Dancing... we met in dance class and used to dance all the time, but we need to start up again... sweat just drips off and you don't even know you're exercising it's so much fun. 60 - Gym membership. I will only get one when I know I've shown myself enough discipline to lose 60 pounds! 70 - Night out for sushi... I figure I will let myself splurge if

70 is gone! 80 - Trainer - to help me lose the last 20 and tone up really well 90 - SUSHI again! 100 - Family cruise where we don't SPLURGE on food.... but do the activities on board! Hubby: 10 - Sleep in one morning 20 - New Stud Finder from Lowes 30 - New Shoes - this is going to be needed... but he gets the expensive kind so this needs to be a goal! 40 - Movie w/out popcorn and candy! 50 - Hockey game 60 - Spa with the wife 70 - Movie night 80 - Sleep in for a week 90 - New skis 100 - Ski Vacation in Colorado I am 2 pounds away from having the hubster dust the house from top to bottom.... I gained weight over this last vacation we took. Wish us luck! We intend on doing this by NOT skipping breakfast, cut down

on Fast Food SIGNIFICANTLY, Lots of water, no snacks after dinner.... I am considering doing Nutrisystem for about a month... any thoughts??? <bryefield@...> wrote: there you go - it's so much easier focusing onlosing 10 pounds and a heck of a lot lessintimadating too LOL besides we all know someonewho's trying to lose 10 pounds :)--- Dan & Tammy Hess <dan.hess@...>wrote:> Yes I'm using the food mover. • 1 year later...

Dear Colleagues and friends,

In the year 2007, around 135 job postings were done on various e-

forums/platforms by organizations working for the cause of HIV/AIDS

in India.

Only a miniscule percentage of those postings carried the

clear message encouraging PLHIV to apply and compete for those

positions. The fact remains that percentage of PLHIV in organizations

working for the cause of HIV/AIDS is alarmingly low.

In coming year 2008, please urge your HR people, colleagues and

leaders to have your organization join the list of those

organizations who are explicit in their job postings for actually and

openly encouraging competent PLHIV applications and recruitement.

Please remember that even love needs to be expressed.

Some sample text sentences to use in your job postings:

" People living with HIV are encouraged to apply "

" Racial/ethnic minority individuals, women, PLHIV and persons with

disabilities are encouraged to apply "

" We have a PLHIV-friendly workplace "

Please note that the debate around these kind of sentences to be

stigmatizing is less important than the ground reality of importance

of more PLHIV getting in the ranks of organizations working for the

cause of HIV/AIDS. This shall give a lot of heart to people living

with HIV and has the potential to increase PLHIV involvement at all

levels of ongoing HIV pevention and treatment efforts.

Wish you all a very healthy, happy and productive new year 2008!

In solidarity,

Jagdish Harsh
