Guest guest
Bev, didn't realize you were on Protein Power. sometime we should have a face off - do our own study - the Atkins diet VS Protein Power. Give a sufficient time period - say a month - and see which comes out ahead. wonder who else in the challenge is doing Protein Power ? Perhaps we could add that to our reports. I would love to know this ... logically, I think Protein Power makes more sense for longer term WOL. But I wish I could know for SURE..... Guest guest
Gail, Good idea. I have to say though, that if I can't reach 159, 3 pounds, by the end of September then I might have another problem, like a big stall!! Guest guest
Some ppl subtract fiber from carbs to get more fiber in there diet protien power follows this but atkins doesn't It is a personal choice if you want to combine these two plans. --- Tina Eisenhart wrote: > What is this useable carbs??and the fibre thing is > that something else > tolearn and where do I learn it///////???? > tina > > > ATTACHMENT part 2 message/rfc822 > From: Bevnselah@... > Date: Tue, 7 Sep 1999 12:26:42 EDT > To: Atkins-A-WayOfLifeonelist > Reply-to: Atkins-A-WayOfLifeonelist > Subject: Re: So far today.... > > From: Bevnselah@... > > Hi Penny > Sure, it's so easy--I just take one of those la > tortilla (whole wheat fat > free) quesadillas ( I think Jep mentioned that on > his web site) with 12g > carbs and 9 g of fiber and I cut up a 1 ounce slice > of Alpine lite swiss > cheese (less than 1 gram of carbs and 7 gms of > protein) and cut up 2 slices > of extra lean ham (0 carbs and 10 g of protein) into > chunks. Guest guest
Beverlee Ya, I don't know either--I'm so new to Protein Power and never tried Atkins--but I figured if I didn't lose weight on Protein Power I'd switch to Atkins--they are both so similar.
