Guest guest
Nope, doesn't mean this at all. Keep in mind too that none of our kids do exactly the same things at the same times, or respond the same as another child to interventions we try. The joy of autism.....our kids are as individual as they can get! Sue RE: Re: Once a bubblebath, always a bubblebath. > OH MAN!!!!!!! Guest guest
Not at all. Jake loves to get really dirty, but usually tries somehow to keep his hands clean. However like Aradia RedSwan's daughter, he has been known to play in the cat litter box. GROSS!!!!!!! ~ Karin p.s. I've never owned anything designer either. Never missed it. Oops, forgot about the gloria vanderbilt jeans that were popular when I was in school. Does that count? She doesn't care what's on her clothes, how dirty or wet they are. is another story. He doesn't care about dirt or stains but heaven forbid he get the tiniest little spot of water on him. He has to change EVERYTHING, down to socks and underwear. Tina
Guest guest
not at all - i am saying rowan's behaviours were worst at age 4!! michelle Re: Re: Once a bubblebath, always a bubblebath. I've had a feeling that he is *beginning* a tantrum thing... :/ Weird, most kids after they are 2/3 yrs. they are past most of that, but it sounds like he may get worse after having a " relatively " easy 2/3 year old stretch. ~ Karin

Guest guest
Hey Sara, do you want to come and help clean my house too. ) I've been slacking big time lately!!!!! For some reason I'm so tired and have no energy lately. I can't explain it, but it sure keeps me from doing the cleaning, and my house shows it! Tina W. Guest guest
I fail the mommy exam... > I only wash Mikey's hair if he gets something in it. Really, a month or 6 > weeks will go by. But he's a baby so it doesn't get greasy or anything. > (OK maybe he's not really a baby anymore, he just turned 3, but you know > what I mean.) No Sara you don't fail otherwise I do too! I only wash what hair mark has left when I have to. Since it's so short that's not very often. It's more trouble than it's worth and he usually gets it wet anyway when he splashes around in the tub. I only wash him up in the tub if he is really dirty. But I give him wash rags and stuff to play with in the tub so maybe some day he will figure out that I won't hurt him when I wash him. But he takes so many baths that he isn't very dirty. And I always wash his hands and face with baby wipes when they are dirty. Tina W. Anybody > still here? ;-) > > ~ Karin Yep I'm still here. ha ha For Mark if he wants to throw a fit he has to do it in his room. Since we have started this his trantrums have gotten a lot better. I used to just let him throw his trantrum and not get involved but it works much better this way, and it seems to calm him down faster. Tina W. Guest guest
Me too!!! I had a handyman come today to do some things on my " honey-do " list (dh isn't handy AT all) and I was embarrassed. I REALLY need to at least vacuum, but Matt doesn't like it, so I have to wait until Daddy takes him strolling in the evening, but by then I'm usually working. Guess I'll have to make a quick pass at it tonight when they go. It's GROSS! ellen Re: Once a bubblebath, always a bubblebath.
