I saw the sawbones this afternoon

To all:

I saw the surgeon that will work on my colon today. They will do the

surgery sometime in February. I will receive a phone call from the

scheduling nurse in the next week or so.

The surgery will take no more than two hours. I will remain in the

hospital for four days afterward. It will take me six weeks to fully

recover. They will remove 1/4 of my colon.

I asked the doctor about the lap band. He said that he would not do

that because it is a separate procedure.

I have a huge request to make. Will someone please call me while I'm stillin the

hospital? I have no friends or family here in Fresno. There isnothing worse than

being a hospital patient with no visitors or phonecalls!! Been there, done that

and hated it!!
