Thanks and for your info and support. Yes, we are using

Valley Orthocare to make the helmet. We had our first appointment

today. I asked Melinda if she was aware of problems getting

reimbursement from extended health plans. Answer was that it was

less of a problem recently, as awareness of the DOC Band is

increasing. I'm still waiting for reply from Sun Life, but am not

too worried anymore.

My son, Connor got plastered. Ugh! I must say, though, it was a lot

less painful than I expected. Connor is now 7.5 months. He should

have his helmet by 8 months. And Alan estimates that Connor will

need to wear the helmet for 6 months(!).
