Thanks ....that definitely helps and I will try health food store soon.

Here is a recipe I used either with celery or cuke sticks, or sometimes with

porkrinds:

Shrimp Dip

1 pound boiled, and peeled shrimp

1 8 oz pack cream cheese, room temp

1/2 cup finely chopped celery

3 Tb lemon juice

2 Tb chopped parsley

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1/2 tsp salt

3 dashes Tabasco (or to taste)

Optional: a bit of chopped green onions)

I just put all of this in food processer.....(saving shrimp to add last

couple of mixes, so it stays a bit chunky)

Now, I am sorry for this, but I dont have the carb content on this...

its just an old recipe I have been making forever, and know from the

ingredients that it is very low in carbs, because it goes a long way.

,

set your self a small goal to reach in 2 or 3 weeks, then just work on that.

And as far as induction, Its worth going through if you want to lose the

weight!! I know you get soooooooooo frustrateed, I do too!! But you can do

it!!

OH!! LOL!! How about this? I have started the induction diet today. So,

you can start with me. We can count the days til we are done with the hard

part... And if you like we can help inspire one another to do some exercise.

I walk and I love it. I cannot believe that I didn't do it before. It is

like a mini vacation in the middle of the morning every day to me. Ok, so

are you ready???? Teena (13 days to go...)

Kim,

Good for you for starting over again in the morning. Now that you know

sweets don't taste all that great anymore the next time should be easier to

resist!!! :o)

As for the hurricane I am keeping a close eye on it....we live in

Homestead, Florida and the memories of Hurricane are all too fresh in

our minds. I'll be heading inland to Central Florida if it does threaten.

Everybody take care and stay safe!!!

I am in Jupiter,FL....about an hour and half north of you Marilyn....stores

are already busy with people stocking up on hurricane supplies.

As long as we have water to drink and some jerky, we will survive that part

of it (and maybe even kick start a really good weight loss!!!)

My daughter and her 3 kids are living with hubby and I until she gets house

sold after her divorce....so 3 little ones under 7 means lots of snacks in

house......that is hardest part...seeing all of that carbo food.

Oh well.......builds my character as my mom says...

Hugs to all

Hi ,

We visited Jupiter, Florida about a month ago and really liked it. My

husband was thinking about working for another area (he's a deputy sheriff),

so he wanted to look around Palm Beach County. If he does decide to move in

the future I certainly wouldn't mind living in Jupiter....it had that nice,

small, home-town feel!!! :o)

As for the snacks I certainly understand. I have a 3 1/2 yr. old and a 2

yr. old so I have to have snacks in the house for them. I usually buy things

that don't appeal to me, sometimes easier said than done though! LOL

Good luck to you!

Hi Kim!

That is wonderful that you have an alternate location to go to. My family

is in Orlando. I talked to my Mom today and told her not to be surprised if

we ended up on her doorstep next week. :o)

Best wishes!
