My sister calls them man-hater movies! LOL Hi I do my best to avoid sad movies, or books. Those sad stories, especially if they are based on the truth just break my heart. Reading good old King, so I can be terrified works for me. How is that for crazy? A little Lennon lyrics: " Whatever gets you through the night 'salright, 'salright " Kaylene

Kaylene, I also go to the scary channels, watched " The Stand " by King for about the tenth time and still enjoy it. MOON spells scary. The Langoilers were on after that and I had to explain what they were. King certainly has a diverse writing style. I love The Green Mile and Needful Things really hit home with me. I also do not like to watch sad movies and when I go to the Classic Movie Channel and watch them except when they put the movies of when the economy fell in the thirties, sad reminder and hope our country does not do that way. The Yearling was on TCM and he had to go kill his deer and I said, " No turn it off " . My husband did not understand, its just a movie. Well I want to pretend at my Pity Party that everything is okay and there is no pain. Repeat until you get tired of the pain goes away. I'm off to mop the floor so no one walks on it at two am, I see Kaylene, you were up at four thirty : ) Bennie
