Guest guest
>For those of you who have a stimulator, I have kind of a personal question and that is, are you allowed to have sex? I assume the answer is no during the trial and maybe they will tell me all this when I go in. Hi Becky I don't have a spinal stimulator, but I have had multiple surgeries. I did not feel like having sex after any of them. This is an excellent question to ask your doctor, especially if you have a permanent one placed. I know you are not suppose to twist your body, and various other things for awhile after surgery so the leads will implant firmly. Anyway, here is a link from spine-health.com with a video about spinal cord stimulator implant: http://tinyurl.com/65bvz4 Here is the Medtronic link: http://tinyurl.com/3krkpfc I hope these are helpful. Please write down each and every question you have for the surgeon. It's easy to forget what you want to say when she zips in and out of the room. Good luck Kaylene
