It shows we all should know the signs of dehydration rather than the amount of

water. It is important to be hydrated and I tend to stay borderline dehydrated

and it becomes a problem when I go in for a lab stick so I have to watch my

fluid intake and also the fluid I get through foods.

One thing about this " freeing up " the neck muscles. I think it is a trial and

error thing. I mean, do not expect great results at first. A person might make

some progress right away and that is good. However, I think it is a learning

process.

I just had a thought about humans not drinking enough water, or other liquids,

in one days time. Wouldn't it be logical that all parts of the body, including

muscles, need to be hydrated, and where would it come from if not water. Most

of us know that coffee does not count, sorry to say.

I remember trying to actually drink lots of water during the day. After a week

or so I noticed wonderful results. But here is the sticking point: drinking

that much water is hard work, especially at first. Plus the fact that a person

would have to visit the bathroom quite often ! It is said that the body does

not make a fast adjustment to process a larger than normal water intake.

Depending on circumstances, the adjustment could take quite a while. Most

humans do not stick to the plan and go right back to 4 or more cups of coffee a

day and think that will be just fine. It isn't.

Thank you for this information, I am certainly going to try this when my next

headache hits, most likely in a day or two. I will let you know if it works for

Bill,

I drink water all the time.....besides one cup of coffee in the

morning, which I have my class of water with, water and crushed Ice is

all I drink. The ice chips are because I recently quit smoking and it

keeps my mouth busy and not wanting to smoke. Occasionally I will drink

an iced tea with a meal, but that is rare. I do not leave the house

without a bottle of water. I know I am not getting enough if my urine

is not clear, but it normally is, even in the morning because I rarely

sleep more than 4 hrs because of the pain. I wholeheartedly agree with

you and the article!!
