Guest guest
Hello all, It's been such a long time, most of you won't know me. I've been a member for years but was out of commission due to serious health issues. I just wanted to pop in and say HELLO to everyone, especially the moderators whom have given me so much support in that past. I'm hoping to become more active in the group. I've just gotten back to work after 4 1/2 months off (because of failed surgery). I had a total hysterectomy (after years of painful endometreosis and hormone problems)on Sept. 28th. It's been 6 months and I'm still having serious problems because of a failed vaginal vault surgery. It messed up my ability to go to the bathroom properly. Never had any problems like this before and boy is it miserable. I won't give gory details but YUCK! Sometimes it presses on cyst in lower back and that is really the most painful times, I just scream out in pain. I've developed a rare form of arthritis that mimics OA but is more aggressive in nature. My fingers, hips, elbows, ankles have been affected but mostly my fingers right now, they have big nodules on them. We don't really have any Rheumatologist around here and the one I saw said I am double jointed (never heard that) and have severe joint instabilities, but I'd heard that when had to have total shoulder replacement. There is a lot of speculation about whether a rare skin disease I have is the cause (rarest form of mucha habberman syndrome)as it has come back after being dormant for 20 years. Other than that, just the usual stenosis back pain in Thoracic, nueropathy (nerve pain) in both arms/toes and total exhaustion all the time. I was taking Oxycontin ER but when they changed the formulation it was like poison to me and it would come out the way it went in. Now on short-acting Oxycodone and am always tired. The Oxy ER gave me the energy I needed to function. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem with Oxycontin ER? I'm still not over it and the change really wreaked havoc on my body as a whole. Getting my hormones regulated hasn't been much fun. I'm getting there. Hope everyone else is doing okay and I do think of you all often and pray for those in pain every single day. Love to all!!!!
