Good Morning ,

My name is ,from New York just a bit north of the city. I've

been doing both Mindfulness and Loving Kindness meditation for 37 years now and

both help me to relax and " get the kinks out of my

neck and back. I have a room in my apartment that is solely used for

meditation.I keep it dark and quiet. I don't have any indoor nor outdoor noises

to bother me during the meditation.

I practice Buddhism daily. I read both the Sanga and the Dharma,

they bare both " teaching of the Buddha'. Some day I'll get it right, lol.

I enjoy reading the teachings and I can,at times, feel joyful when dong the

loving kindness meditation.

I found a great place to get information too. It's called beliefnet.com, click

on the Buddhism site and you can listen to

the proper way to recite either meditation.

Enjoy.

Hi ,

Thank you for the link! I will look at the site when I get the chance and

hopefully put some of the ideas to good use! I try mindful meditation for not

just pain relief, but also for panic attacks, anxiety attacks, stress, and my

flashbacks as well as my PTSD. They do work for me about half the time which is

awesome. Again, Thank you!

Love,

Becky in NM

I practice meditation. It has come in handy while dealing with pain. Some call

it self hypnosis. I use it all the time. Even more so when my pain levels hit a

hard ten. It is very easy to do.

I am wiccan, so it is part of my rituals. I have been doing it for over 30

years.

Gentle hugs,
