Guest guest
I take Endocet 10/325 and have for 2.5 years. With this horrid kidney infection, I was wondering (because I want it to be my first and LAST!)if Tylenol can be bad on kidneys? I was thinking of asking my doc at next appointment (dont actually SEE him until August) if there were alternatives- like Endocet with less tylenol in it? Is there a way to ask this properly? I've never asked him to change my med in any way, but I don't like having it in there at all. For as long as I can remember, Tylenol hasn't helped me in any way (headaches, etc). Aspirin did! Excedrin did! Are there any options with less Tylenol since it doesn't help me anyway? It just seems like an unneeded additive in my case. Hi You asked several questions in your post, so I will answer this one. Excessive, or and overdose of Tylenol causes liver damage, not kidney. Tylenol, cannot cause a urinary tract infection either. Excessive, or an overdose of aspirin can cause kidney failure. Do you have urinary tract infections frequently? May I ask if they doctor knows why?
