Guest guest
Lori, why not schedule her meds for a later time so that she can sleep in on the week ends? I can't remember her age, but in due time she may very well learn to go back to sleep after the evening dose before you retire for the evening. My is 7 years old now and is very good at going back to sleep from medical care interruptions through out the night. It is a skill he learned out of necessity with all of the alarms, monitor, ventilator and oxygen problems during the night; night feeds, and medications round the clock like we are doing now for reactive airways. It will serve your daughter well to learn this skill. If you push up the meds to 9:00, you will have to awaken her after she goes to bed, but I would think in no time at all she would learn to go back to sleep, then you all can sleep in until 9:00 on the week ends. just a suggest, Cheri
Guest guest
Hi Cheri, This is an awsome idea! I think it will work because on occasion, her daddy will come home late and go into her room to say hello and kiss her which will wake her for a second but she always goes right back to sleep. Giving her the meds after she has been sleeping for awhile will work and will let her sleep late if she wants to! Thank you so much for this suggestion, I don't know why I didn't think of it myself! Take care, Lori Cheri77777@... wrote: > From: Cheri77777@... > > Lori, > > why not schedule her meds for a later time so that she can sleep in on the > week ends?
