Guest guest
Good evening or morning or whatever, I got into a snowball fight with my neighbor last week. And I thought I just sprained my shoulder. Not so, I have a partial tear of my left shoulder, also known as a separated shoulder. I had to move my physical therapy beginning until it heals or feels better. It feels like CRAP,lol. It does take my mind off of the lumbar and neck pain. Hi I'm so sorry that you are hurt, and that New York etc. are having so much snow. Will you be seeing an orthopedic surgeon? That should be your best bet. Here is a link with useful information about a separated shoulder: http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/shouldersurgery/a/separation_2.htm First the snow gets you into trouble, and now it might prevent you from getting help today. , my friend, you have all the luck. Best wishes Kaylene
Guest guest
(((((((()))))))) ouch! I am sorry to hear about your shoulder. You are right. Just what you needed. You sound me. I am really to move someplace where it never snows! My husband slipped on some ice in the driveway a couple days ago and broke part of his patella. Now he is in a leg brace for at least 6 weeks. I know what you mean about pain medication. My wrist hurts me soooo bad sometimes. My pain medication for my neck and back pain does not seem to do a thing to ease my wrist pain. I hope your shoulder is feeling better soon. Gentle hugs, Tami in Pa

Not so, I have a partial tear of my left shoulder. , I am so sorry for this, you certainly didn't need it. I was out at my Dad's who is 91 and we were lifting and shoving 100 pound bags of cubs, firewood, and stacking, and I was just trying to help him and I was only killing myself. It had snowed six-eight inches there and I was also shoveling snow with a hoe on the front deck/porch. We just can't be those energetic people anymore! I hope you get in soon as most people who have had this have said it is extensively painful. My girlfriend (who cleans) and my Sister (who was a Nurse) has had this, and my brother-in-law who fell out of the tree! They all both told after healing not to get a frozen shoulder and go to PT. Yours might be different. My brother-in-law is going in for his a scar release next month and we are sending up prayers for him. This is the one who damaged both his hands by equipment dropping and squashing them and thankfully he regained 90 per cent use of them. We loving tell him do we call him Lucky or Un Lucky . Good Luck to you . Bennie
